What We Believe

We believe that every human being is created in the image and likeness of God and therefore possesses an inherent dignity that no person, institution, or government has the authority to deny. From the moment of conception, every human life is a unique and irreplaceable person deserving of love, protection, and justice.

The Catholic Church has consistently taught that human life must be respected and protected from its beginning. As affirmed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, human life must be safeguarded absolutely from the moment of conception. The deliberate taking of innocent human life through abortion is therefore a grave moral injustice.

Our society has tolerated and normalized the destruction of unborn children for decades. Millions of innocent lives have been lost, and countless mothers and families have been wounded by the tragedy of abortion. This injustice has been sustained by laws that deny the humanity and equal protection of the unborn.

We reject the idea that some human beings may be excluded from the protection of the law because they are small, dependent, or unwanted. Justice demands that every human person be recognized as equal before the law.

Inspired by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the teaching of the Church, especially articulated in Evangelium Vitae by Pope John Paul II, we affirm that a just society must defend the most vulnerable members of the human family. The unborn child is the most vulnerable of all.

Therefore, we call for the complete abolition of abortion and the recognition of the equal dignity and legal protection of every human being from conception.

Our mission is to work peacefully and faithfully toward a culture and legal order that protects all human life. We commit ourselves to:

We do not seek condemnation, but conversion. We do not seek vengeance, but justice. And we do not lose hope, because the defense of human life is rooted in truth.

In fidelity to Christ and His Church, we commit ourselves to defend the unborn until every child is welcomed in life and protected by law.
